Black tea: Black tea is the most well-known variety of tea in the west. It’s also famous as red tea in China. Its leaves are fully oxidized and are mostly younger leaves are divided into broken leaf and full leaf categories. Because of oxidization tea leaves become dark and the flavor becomes rich, strong and robust. Broken leaf black teas are excellent morning teas and can be stand-alone.

Oolong Tea: Oolong teas are partially oxidized and have long been cultivated in China and Taiwan. Less oxidized oolong tea boasts a golden green infusion and a light floral taste. More oxidized oolong teas tend to have the widest array of flavors and aroma.

Green Tea: Green teas are less oxidized and retain high levels of antioxidants and minerals due to low processing. Green tea infusions vary from medium to light green in color and in flavor vary from grassy, sweet, floral to roasted. Chinese’s green teas are typically citrusy in flavors whereas Japanese’s green teas are mild and delicate. Green teas are also well known for its many health benefits.

White Tea: White tea is the least processed and oxidized of all tea types. Because of minimal processing, it retains a high level of antioxidants.  It is the most delicate and rarest teas and is harvested by hand. It evokes a mild gentle fresh flavor like bamboo, asparagus or almonds.

Rooibos Tea: Rooibos is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea indigenous to South Africa. It is widely known because of ruby red color and has a naturally sweet flavor. It lacks bitter tannins and is naturally decaf hence, it’s an enjoyable drink. It is best known for its anti-aging properties and can be an ideal drink during any time of the day.



Herbal Tea: Herbal tea is not tea per se as the ingredients do not come from the Camellia Sinesis Plant. It can be made with a variety of ingredients such as mint, chamomile, berries, ginger or lemongrass. Teas made from fruits, spices, and herbs offer many flavors and benefits.    It is well known for various medicinal properties such as allergies, headaches, and acts as digestive and sleeping aids
